NHS

Partnership with NHS Trusts offer flexible, cost-effective solutions to help enhance and maintain patient care standards.

How we support NHS Trusts

The Occupational Therapy Service can support to alleviate pressures, improve efficiency, reduce waiting times and improve patient outcomes, particularly during periods of high demand.

Reducing waiting lists

Our highly skilled occupational therapists can provide additional capacity to help NHS Trusts manage waiting times and backlogs, ensuring patients receive timely, patient-centred interventions that can improve outcomes through prevention of delays in care and reduce hospital stays.

Specialist Assessments and Interventions

At The Occupational Therapy Service we have expert occupational therapists who can deliver specialist assessments in areas like neurorehabilitation, mental health, paediatrics, orthopaedics, older people, mental health and hand therapy and splinting.  These can be home, workplace, school-based or digital therapy assessments that NHS teams may not have capacity for, but that will be expert-led, targeted therapy.

Interim and locum staffing support

The Occupational Therapy Service is able to supply experienced occupational therapists on a short-term or long-term basis to cover staff shortages, ensuring continuity of care during recruitment or periods of high demand. We can also provide workplace wellness programs for NHS staff to prevent burnout and stress-related absences.
