Huma Chohan

Huma qualified in 2017 and has gained experience in both health and social care settings, working closely with young people, adults and the elderly as well as their family members and carers. Areas in which she has worked include community mental health and memory services, inpatient adult rehabilitation, community learning disability, community stroke and neurology and urgent care recovery teams. This has advanced Huma’s knowledge base as a senior occupational therapist in fast paced and challenging environments. Huma has also worked as an associate within private practice completing holistic assessments and providing robust reports and recommendations for case managers and their clients. Huma specialises in rehabilitation, equipment provision, environmental adaptations, manual handling, mentoring, and supervision.

Huma is a passionate and enthusiastic occupational therapist who strives to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and has a particular interest in assistive technology to support clients reach their full potential in meaningful activity.
