Helen Long

Since qualifying, Helen has worked overseas for 2 years, and the rest of her employment has been within the NHS and Adult Social Care. Helen can work with a variety of people, who all have complex needs and a variety of medical diagnoses.

With 18 years specialised experience within the NHS Posture and Mobility Service, Helen gained experience assessing complex postural seating needs, prescribing a range of postural support and wheelchairs, and where necessary, explore alternative solutions for clients.

In 2021, Helen started employment within Adult Social Care, assessing individuals needs and identifying necessary and appropriate solutions to meet goals either through or a combination advice, equipment or housing adaptations.

Helen’s goal is to ensure that the people she works with have the best interventions to allow them to carry on with their life doing the things that are important to them.
