Faye Gower-Smith

Faye is a skilled occupational therapist, being appointed to the role of Principal Occupational Therapist in 2019. Faye utilises the skills and knowledge that she obtained from completing her ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management course. The course has enabled Faye to gather large amounts of information, to identify where OT can be used differently or with increased efficiency and to lead on the early help and prevention and living well agenda.

Faye is confident in her professional knowledge and has experience of presenting at the OT show and the NAEP conference. She is confident in articulating a range of information to a diverse range of staff, commissioning groups and more. Faye has experience of training large groups of staff both qualified and non-qualified in community equipment but also on occupational therapy principals. She also has experience of being a fieldwork educator, mentoring and supporting students.
