Diane Herbert

Diane graduated as an occupational therapist in 2018 and has since gained experience working in palliative care, paediatric care, older adult mental health, stroke and neurological conditions.

Currently, she works in a hospice, delivering group sessions for individuals with diagnoses of Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. She works closely with patients to empower and maintain their sense of self and purpose whilst facing a life limiting illness. She collaborates closely with the broader multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.

Diane has also worked in hospital settings and acute wards as part of a fast-response team, assessing adults in their home environments to evaluate their functional abilities and prescribe adaptations and minor equipment.

She is a highly passionate and enthusiastic occupational therapist, dedicated to building a therapeutic and person-centred rapport with her clients. She regularly participates in continued professional development activities to ensure that she is current in her knowledge and skills.
