
Carole Farrand
Carole is a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist with experience in both clinical and community settings. Specialising in the moving and handling of clients, she holds a Level 3 Trainer Certificate in Moving and Handling and excels in developing and presenting training programs for both formal and informal carers.
Throughout her career, Carole has worked across a variety of services including respiratory and gastroenterology, neurorehabilitation, intermediate care, discharge to assess, and social care. She has collaborated with numerous authorities and contributed to blue badge clinics, specialist seating clinics, and falls teams.
Carole has designed a six-week fatigue and anxiety management programme for clients and is proficient in conducting holistic, cognitive, functional and environmental assessments. Also, her expertise extends to goal setting and the development of tailored treatment plans.
Experienced in working with adults with complex cognitive and physical disabilities, Carole possesses a deep understanding of how health conditions impact daily functioning. She has an extensive knowledge of equipment, as well as major and minor adaptations, and is well-versed in disability facility grants.
