Qualifying in 2011, Alison is a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist, specialising in manual handling, brain injury, spinal cord injury, palliative care and progressive neurological conditions. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for people with life-limiting conditions, combining sensory motor, perceptual motor, functional and cognitive approaches to meet the needs of each client she meets.
Alison has worked extensively in palliative care, specialising in progressive neurological conditions, however she has a wide range of experience with medical conditions that impact a client’s ability to complete activities of daily living. She has a specialist knowledge of assistive technology, supporting adults and children to make the best use of the environment around them.
Alison actively develops her clinical skills through regular postgraduate training, ensuring that her clients receive the best possible treatment.
