Alana Wilson

Since qualifying in 2007, Alana has worked as an occupational therapist, gaining experience in assessing for minor equipment and major adaptations. She has also gained post graduate qualifications in complex manual handling, which supports the reviewing of and assessing for, moving and handling with patients and carers, adding to her wide range of experience.

In the more recent years, Alana has worked within wheelchair services, giving her extensive experience in posture and mobility. She can assess for manual and active wheelchairs, powered chair suitability and safe driving ability. Whilst having a detailed understanding of posture ad mobility, Alana also has a deep understanding in pressure care and pressure cushion provision, enabling her to utilise her extensive knowledge to work effectively with case managers and clients.

Alana can work with both adults and paediatrics, providing knowledge and recommendations to suit the client’s needs.
